Five mornings in August you will take your cameras and explore the East End’s hidden natural gems, including special access to preserves of the Nature Conservancy. As we probe personal photographic vision we will dwell on the intersection of art and the environment, capturing moments of transcendent light and mundane details of natural surroundings, plants, rocks, waves. Wear long pants.
These workshops are designed to develop the inner and outer creative eye: one by exploring the natural environment and the other as an exploration of photographic history. Classes include technical aspects, field trips, assignments, and critiques. Bring your own camera (digital/smartphone).
We wish to thank The Nature Conservancy for their collaboration with this class.
